We find where the work stops, and what it is costing you.
One paid day on your floor. Two weeks later, a written report on where capacity is going and what to fix first. From there you can do the work yourself with our help, or we can build it with you.
What we usually find
Slow quotes cost you jobs when work is scarce, and capacity when it is not.
"We don't have time to find new work."
We look at where the hours go between a customer asking and your team answering, and what is sitting in that gap.
"Our quoting process is too slow."
We time the quote from the moment it lands to the moment it leaves, from your own records, and find the step that is holding the rest.
"We're chasing invoices instead of making parts."
We follow one job from accepted order to paid invoice and find where the handoffs break.
"Our inbox is a black hole."
We look at what arrives, who it waits on, and what a decision is costing in elapsed time.
About Agent Impact
Agent Impact is an operations advisory in Toronto. We work with manufacturers of 50 to 500 people in Ontario and the Great Lakes on the part of the business that decides how much work gets through the plant: quoting, scheduling, handoffs, and the admin that lands on the best people. We use AI inside our own work so that a day on your floor produces more than a day of notes, and we build what we recommend on the systems you already own. The firm was founded by Daryl Edwards, a former plant manager and VP of Operations.
Five ways to work with us.
Every one of them starts the same way, with a day on your floor. That is how we know which of the other four you actually need. The diagnostic fee is credited in full against whatever you do next.
Capacity Diagnostic
One day on site. Written report in two weeks.
A process mapping session with your team in the morning, one-on-one interviews with the people who run the work in the afternoon. Two weeks later you get a written report: where capacity is being lost, what it is costing you, and what to do about it in priority order. Sometimes the answer is that you do not need us. The report is yours either way.
Credited in full against the Flow Study, the Thirteen-Week Build, or the Embedded AI Ops Lead, or against the third month of Executive AI Advisory.
Flow Study
Six to ten weeks. Fixed fee.
Significant funding available, often 50%. Eligibility is decided by the program.
Interviews across your whole flow, analysis of your own quotes, jobs and records rather than estimates, and a report that ends in a real choice: stop, fix it internally, use the software you already own better, bring in a vendor, or commission a build.
Thirteen-Week Build
Thirteen weeks. Fixed fee, fixed scope.
One handoff made reliable, or one flow given standard work your team runs, inside the systems you already own. Measured before and after from your own records. A named owner on your side, an acceptance test you sign, and a written list of what we will not do.
Embedded AI Ops Lead
One or two days a week. Ninety days, renewable ninety days at a time.
For the company that knows what has to change and has nobody inside with the time or the background to build it. A fractional seat: a senior AI and operations lead in the building one or two days a week, building the operating structure, the standard work, and the internal AI tooling your team runs afterward. Scoped after the diagnostic, because the seat depends on what we find. Designed to hand over, not to stay.
Executive AI Advisory
Weekly or every two weeks. Three months to start, month to month after.
A standing session with a senior advisor from Agent Impact, weekly or every two weeks, your choice. For the owner, plant manager or continuous improvement lead who is going to do the work and wants someone senior to think it through with first. You bring what you are stuck on. You leave with the next move and a way to check it worked.
Mid-market manufacturers ready to scale without adding headcount
Discrete and continuous manufacturers with 50 to 500 employees in Ontario and the Great Lakes.
VP Operations
You need the admin taken off your best people. We start by timing where their hours actually go, from your own records, then decide what to change.

It was a very collaborative approach and strategy that took the input from many different stakeholders… consolidating all of that information, synthesizing it, analyzing it, and then creating very structured recommendations.
